Note: Every photo uploaded in the above examples are Crystal Clear Quality High Definition* 720p photos. All plans include the ability to request a higher res, original res, or video clip from the SD card. Each time you make an on demand request and the camera uploads a larger resolution or a video clip, this data will be deducted from your overall remaining data and subsequently reduce the remaining upload count in your plan.
If you go over your plan data limit, the system will only charge you for the overages.
It is important to note that on demand requests do not incur any additional costs. These requests will use some of your selected plan data. If you use more than your monthly data plan, you will only pay for the additional data you have used. There is no penalty whatsoever.
Ridgetec HD means true HIGH DEFINITION due to a superior sensor, lens and image processing used in our cameras.

How On-Demand Requests work with your Plan
There are 3 types of on-demand requests that consume your data plan:
High Res Max (photo mode):
This is a higher quality version that replaces the one orignally sent from the camera.
It will have a resolution higher than 720p with a dimension of 1600x900 (1.5 megapixel) in the maximum quality supported.[20] High Res Max requests will consume approximately 1mb of your plan data.Original (photo mode):
This is the Original JPEG saved on the SD card in max quality based on Photo Resolution selected. It will replace the JPEG originally uploaded.
The average size of an original JPEG is 3+mb.
Video clip (video mode):
This is the Upload video created based on your configuration.
The average size ranges 2mb to 11mb in size. 500 video requests could use as much as 1GB of your data.
How our Pooled pricing works
- The Monthly Tier indicates the cost and the data awarded each month.
- Pool Data will be shared by all of the cameras in your pool.
- Unused Data is not carried over into future periods.
- Your Monthly cost is computed as follows:
(renew tier price + ((number of active cameras/sims - 1) * Add a Camera price)). - Example: 5000 Photos: $11.95 and 3 Active Cameras.
11.95 + (2*6) = $23.95 each month
- Turn OFF billing and stop getting charged at any time.
- Bill me Once per month on the same date (billing cycle) even if I run out. Your Account Credit Balance can keep Pool running.
- Bill me an entire month any time I run out. For a mid month (cycle) outage and renewal, unused data is not lost in this scenario and is retained on your account as a dollar value credit.
Note: Active cameras require an Active Pool. For regular monthly recurring pool billing, this data is not carried over into future periods.
Purchase additional data, a reserve, to be used should your data run out within any given month in the future. The Reserve never expires. The system manages a credit balance on your account and these dollars can be used to cover any overages at any time. You may request a refund of the credit balance at any time.
Remote Control and SMS Messaging
- Remote Control allows for real time manipulation of your camera by sending an SMS or text message to the camera while it is in a wake-on-sms state. Use camera settings to activate Remote Control.
- Only Lookout Models support the Remote Control features.
- Warning: Remote Control uses considerable power and will drain batteries faster. (we recommend an external power source in this case)
- Remote Control is available for AT&T and Verizon sims that ship with the older Lookout Dual/ATT cameras.
- SMS commands on Verizon sims will cost $0.02/each (USD) and will be deducted from the Account Credit Balance if available, otherwise they will not be sent. This is a pass-through cost for Ridgetec and Verizon sim users.
- Ridgetec Freedom sims (Newer models like Lookout Xtreme) have NO CHARGE for any SMS messages sent to the camera with Remote Control
